136 Red Gate Farms Trail

Savannah, Ga 31405

Red Gate Farms was named in honor of Cyrus Steadwell, a relative of Harry Martin's wife, Cyrus perished in WWI and had always wanted to own a property and call it Red Gate. Harry bought the original 444 acres and named it in his honor.  Red Gate Farms now offers 3 venues; The Barn at Red Gate before its conversion was an actual working barn and housed Red Gates' horses.  In 1990, the barn began its transition into a special event facility. This traditional setting has retained its authentic barn look with updates to make it perfect for your wedding or event. The Belle Tower once lived in by Patricia Smith, the daughter of Harry E. Martin the original owner is the epitome of a "Southern Belle" thus the name.  The Grainery once an actual feed store has been converted to an event space that is industrial chic with water front views and accommodates any style. We provide full service wedding and event services for any size occasion. Red Gate Farms is still owned by the family. Currently, one of Mr. Martin’s daughters and her children and grandchildren live on Red Gate Farms.

The land is no longer used for farming, but has retained it's Southern charm and serenity. We are located only eight minutes from downtown Savannah, Georgia, "The Hostess City of the Souths's premier Southern Event venue.

We pride ourselves in carrying on the Southern hospitality traditions of our ancestors as well as our great city as Savannah’s Finest destination for Corporate Events, Special Events and Weddings!!
